国内英语资讯:Central Conference on CPPCC Work holds second plenary session

BEIJING, Sept. 21 -- Top political advisor Wang Yang attended Saturday the second plenary session of the Central Conference on the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Work and made a summary speech.

Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC, said the central conference is an important one held by the CPC Central Committee as the People's Republic of China celebrates its 70th founding anniversary.

Wang called for an earnest study of the speech made by President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, at the conference Friday.

He also required deep understanding of the significance and arrangement of the conference and called for breaking the new ground of the cause of CPPCC in the new era.
