国内英语资讯:Chinese legislators to inspect renewable energy law enforcement

BEIJING, Aug. 28 -- The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) on Wednesday announced the launch of an enforcement inspection of the Law on Renewable Energy.

Inspection teams will be sent to six provincial-level regions between August and October. Legislative bodies in 12 other provincial-level regions are tasked to run parallel inspections.

The inspectors will focus on respects ranging from research on renewable energy resources, the development plan for renewable energy to suggestions to revise the existing law.

A report based on results of the inspection will be produced and submitted to the NPC Standing Committee in December.
