BEIJING, March 4 -- A mainland spokesperson on Monday said Kaohsiung mayor Han Kuo-yu is scheduled to lead a municipal delegation to visit Hong Kong, Macao, Shenzhen and Xiamen for exchanges and cooperation, between March 22 and 28.

"We welcome and support cross-Strait city-to-city exchanges and cooperation on the basis of upholding the 1992 Consensus, to jointly enhance the interests and wellbeing of people on both sides of the Strait," said An Fengshan, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.
