NANJING, Nov. 13 -- Based on an agreement between the Chinese and U.S. militaries, the two sides are holding a disaster management exchange in Nanjing, eastern China's Jiangsu Province.
Over 200 military personnel from the army under the Chinese People's Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command and the U.S. Army Pacific are taking part in China-U.S. Disaster Management Exchange 2018, which runs from Nov. 12 to 19.
The exchange aims to share the experience of international humanitarian aid and disaster relief and cultivate the willingness and capabilities of the two militaries in joint actions in this area.
