国际英语资讯:Canadian frigate visits Vietnams Da Nang

HANOI, Sept. 26 -- The HMCS Calgary frigate and the MV Asterix commercial container ship of the Royal Canadian Navy arrived at Tien Sa Port in central Da Nang city on Wednesday for a five-day visit to Vietnam.

Canadian officers and sailors are scheduled to play a friendly football match with their Vietnamese peers, join exchange activities with children with disabilities, Agent Orange/dioxin victims and grade students in Da Nang, meet with trade partners to introduce Canada's technology, and go sightseeing in the city.

As part of the celebrations for the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Canada and Vietnam, the visit will enhance their existing defense collaboration, according to the Canadian Embassy in Vietnam.
