　　My topic today is about copying others’ homework.

　　As we know, some students copy others’ homework. On one hand, we students have to do masses of homework both at home and at school. Sometimes we do have some problems too hard to work out. On the other hand，lazy and uninterested in their lesson, some students copy others’ homework not only to finish the assignments but also to please their teachers.

　　In a word, copying others’ homework is a bad habit. For one thing，it’s against the school rules. Being students, we should be honest and work hard. If we have difficulties，we can turn to teachers and classmates for help. For another, copying others’ homework too often, we will lose the ability that can help us to think.

　　Personally，it’s for our own sake to study. We should try our best to gain knowledge. Let’s take action to prevent such bad behavior from spreading.

　　This afternoon, I was walking in the street when I caught sight of the lady who dropped her purse before me.

　　Just as I was to remind her, she got into a taxi and went away. I picked it up, trying to find some information to contact the lady. But with no telephone number inside it，I decided to wait for the lady, in case she found her purse missing and would come back. But to my disappointment, half an hour passed, and the lady didn’t show up. As a consequence, I had to walk into the nearest police station, where I handed the purse to a policeman, who said he would try to return it to its owner.

　　I was happy because I did a meaningful thing. I think it is our duty to help those who need help. Only in this way will our society become more harmonious.
