When I was in Senior 1,I didn’t study English hard, so my English was very poor. But my deskmate Zhang Yan was quite good at English. Once I whispered to her for the answers during an English exam. She refused to help me, which made me angry and upset. A few days later, Zhang Yan came to talk with me about my English. Her words made me realize the mistake I’d made. To my delight, Zhang Yan promised to help me with my English study from then on. And it was with her help that I was able to make rapid progress in my English. Now I’m also one of the top students in English in my class.
I appreciate her help very much all the time. I feel Zhang Yan is my real friend. What I need in my life is such a good friend.

Dear Zhang Jun,
I am sorry to hear that you feel great pressure of the coming swimming match in which you will represent you school. So I am writing this letter to offer my suggestions concerning this problem.
As a matter of fact, pressure is an inevitable part in our normal life, so be brave to accept it. There are different ways to reduce the pressure that you feel. First of all, you are supposed to adjust your attitude towards achieving good results. Don’t focus on the result too much, because it is only normal for people to win or lose in a contest. Secondly, you will feel much happier by diverting your attention to something else, such as reading your favorite book, listening to music or going for a walk outdoors. Finally, communicating with your parents and friends can effectively relieve your stress.
