　　完形填空虽然篇幅短小，但是却是一个完整的语篇。考生一定要在把握全文大意的基础上进行推断，否则很容易背离全文的主题，连续出现错误。故考生在解题过程中切忌就句论句，首先要弄清文章的中心思想。如：

　　完形填空旨在考查考生对文章内容的理解以及对作者意图的把握。考生应该重视首句，通过首句把握文章的大意和作者的写作意图。如果首句信息不明显，考生可结合尾段进行推断。假如两种方法均不可取，考生可在理清文章脉络和掌握文章大意的基础上，通过字里行间的内容进行逻辑推理。

　　二、上下文暗示当留意

　　完形填空所提供的是一篇完整的短文，其段与段、句与句、甚至词与词之间都有不可分割的、千丝万缕的联系。因此考生在选择答案时不要只注意选项所在的短语、句子或段落，还要善于从上下文中寻找相关的提示信息。

　　完形填空中每一个空格的设置并不是随心所欲的，命题人主要通过上下文暗示出的某种信息来保证答案的正确性和唯一性。考生应该通过上下文的暗示获取解题信息，留意暗送的“秋波”，这是解答完形填的重要方法。2009年全国卷Ⅰ中完形填空第37题就是这样一个典型的例子。
