　　拿到一篇书面表达后，我们首先要做的就是审题。针对本文我们审题时应明确以下几点：

　　(1)这是一篇发言稿，应使用第一人称的口吻来行文；

　　(2)这是一篇议论文，首先呈现你的选择，即亮出你的观点，然后再陈述理由，显然理由(即论证)是本文的核心部分；

　　(3)你可以选择文科，也可以选择理科，这不重要，重要的是为什么做此选择；

　　(4)词数120左右，较以往增加了。

　　审好题之后，就是构思或布局谋篇。本文显然分两个层次。(1)介绍你的选择；(2)陈述理由。第一部分需要交代背景(High school students are faced with a choice between arts and science.)、做出选择的过程(比如after discussing with my parents and consulting my teacher and friends)以及你的选择。第二部分陈述的理由为全文的重点，也是体现本篇作文“开放性”的所在。理由千千万万，需要提炼和整合。写作时，应注意层次分明。
