　　At present, Internet Slang, such as “GG, MM, Xia Mi”, has become popular among

　　teenagers.

　　Some students say no, for they think Internet slang is vivid, fashionable and full of humor and intelligence. Besides, it makes chatting on the Internet quicker.

　　However, other students think Internet slang lacks depth of thought

　　and is too simple, and also, it is hard to understand and can’t be accepted by most people. What’s worse, the words sometimes might make people confused, even resulting in misunderstanding.

　　In my opinion, living in the Information Age, if we don’t know the Internet slang, we seem to fall behind the times, and therefore, it will be OK as long as these terms are used in proper situations. 2.读写任务

　　During the “Earth Hour”, people in Sydney will have a one-hour blackout activity throughout the city, the purpose of which is to make people be aware of energy saving better.

　　I am strongly for this activity, which is really meaningful and helpful for preventing our earth from getting warmer. Besides, it can improve people’s awareness of environment protection.

　　As for me, I will tell my family and people around about Earth Hour and try to ask them to join in it, for just one hour’s blackout may not affect our life much, but it will help them know more about low-carbon life and saving energy.

　　As a student, I will make great efforts to help protect our environment. I won‘t ask my father to drive me to school but take buses or just ride my bike. When doing shopping, I will try to use a cloth or paper bag instead of plastic ones. Every little counts, why not join us!
