　　1.Nowadays, there exists an increasingly special phenomenon that bicycles take up the road again.

　　There are a couple of reasons that produce this phenomenon. Firstly, riding bicycles is the most environmentally friendly. It doesn’t have to burn any fuels; nor does it give off any polluted air. Secondly, it is quite convenient. The bicycle can always find its way ahead, even though there is a traffic jam. The bicycle takes the least room to park in, which saves much trouble, especially in big cities. Thirdly, the bicycle costs the least among all means of transport. It costs so little that almost every family can afford to by one. Finally, by riding bicycles, people can take regular exercise.

　　Jim, as you can see, there is a river and a group of ants in the picture. Some ants are working together to build an “ant bridge” so that their group members are able to cross the river and reach their final destination.

　　In my opinion, this picture vividly shows the importance of teamwork. It is impossible for a single ant to cross the river, but when they work together as a group, they can achieve their goals. Similarly in our life, an individual person cannot easily carry out a challenging task on his own without joining hands with others. In fact, there are a lot of occasions when teamwork is needed, such as ball games, project learning and even parties. As long as every one of us combines our efforts, we can surely cross the “river” in our life, just like what the little ants do in the picture.

　　Recently, a survey about online shopping has been conducted on the Internet. The results are as follows.

　　Chart 1 shows the reasons why people choose to shop online. Of all the people surveyed, 49% think that there are many varieties of products in online shops. About one third of them say that reasonable price is the most appealing factor. And 25% hold that online shopping is so convenient that consumers can buy what they want anywhere at any time. Interestingly, 5% of the people even mention that they can make new friends through online shopping.

　　However, many consumers also express their concerns about online shopping. Among all the concerns in Chart 2, the quality of the products, which accounts for as much as 55%, attracts my attention. Personally, I agree that what consumers get from online shops sometimes differs from what can be seen in the pictures, which can be very disappointing. Therefore, we should make sure the product is of good quality before making a purchase.
