With the development of society, more and more attention has been paid to appropriate manners, especially in public places. However, there are still some inappropriate behaviors. As is shown in the above four pictures, bicyclists run the red traffic lights without obeying traffic rules. Some people don’t want to take any trouble throwing rubbish into the dustbin nearby but around the dustbin to make the ground dirty. In the cinema, we often hear some people talking loudly on mobile phones to disturb the audience around. Very often, on scenic spots we can see scrabbles spoiling places of historic interest and scenic beauty.
So far as I am concerned, I don't doubt that it is wrong for bicyclists to run red lights, for this behavior blocks traffic, seriously affects drivers and causes accidents to happen, endangering the safety of bicyclists themselves and drivers as well. Therefore, I think everyone is supposed to stop when the traffic light turns red. Once someone doesn’t obey the rule, he or she must be punished seriously.
In my point of view, throwing rubbish here and there should be forbidden. If everyone behaves in this way, the city will be a big rubbish dump with flies flying round and people will live in a world of diseases. Therefore, to keep public places tidy and clean, measures should be taken by local administration organizations to enhance people's consciousness to protect environment.
I’m strongly against talking loudly in the cinema, for this behavior shows disrespect to others. Besides, it disturbs the audience around and makes others feel very annoyed. Therefore, my suggestion is that some measures should be taken to prevent such a behavior in public places.
In my opinion, scrabbling on the historical monuments is not only a bad manners but also a crime, for this behavior does great damage to historical sites. As we know, a historical sites is the witness of the historical development of a city and an important basis for historical research. Therefore, measures should be taken by the local government to enhance people's consciousness to protect historical sites.

Dear editor,
What the picture shows is just a common scene in the neighborhoods where we live, whether it is in city or in town. Public places are now made too much use of by people. Some make drawings or practicing their handwriting on walls in these places to show their talents or for fun. Some take advantage of such public places to make free advertisements. Others even put dirty words in these places to curse those whom they don’t like.
In my point of view, measures should be taken by local administration organizations to keep public places tidy, clean and well preserved. On the other hand, people should mind their behaviors. As we know, the image of a neighborhood or a city is reflected especially in public places. The practices above spoil our living environment and the impression on travelers to our hometown.
Yours sincerely,
Li Hua
