　　Hi, I’m Lucy. This is my new house in Beijing. I’m from the UK. My parents and I all live in it.

　　In Beijing there are many different kinds of delicious foods. We like having them a lot. In the morning I usually eat rice with eggs and milk, because I think the food is very healthy for me. Sometimes I eat beef noodles for breakfast. I have gongbao chicken, potatoes and cabbage with rice for lunch. Sometimes I buy some pancakes outside. I would like to eat dumplings with meat and onions for dinner. My mother makes all kinds of dumplings for my father and me. If my mother has no time, She’ll order some specials, like cabbages, a large bowl of porridge and mapo tofu from the restaurant. They get popular with young and old people. My parents like to take their order, like special fish and mutton in the restaurant, but I don’t love them yet.

　　Today is my birthday. My parents buy a big birthday cake for me. First of all I put twelve candles in the birthday cake, the number of candles is my age, so it is my twelfth birthday. My parents let me make a wish before blowing the candles out. My parents say,“If you blow out all the candles in one go, the wish will come true and we also put some lucky candy in the birthday cake, if you eat the candy, it will bring good luck to you.” After that, I cut it up and give pieces to my parents. Thank my parents so much.
