Step1 Revision
1. Review the grammar part.
2. Check the answers of the GEC.
Step2 Lead in
Show 4 pictures of 4 classmates, ask students to introduce them.
Show 2 pictures of Amy and Kitty.
Ask: what is she doing. Lead into 2 s dancing and swimming.
Ask: what about her hair? Is she cute? Lead into new word cute.
Learn new words.

Step3.Presentation and Listening
Read the profile on page13. Ask ss to circle the correct answers in the table according to the profile.
Listen. Let’s listen to Millie and her mother’s conversation and circle the rest of the table. (play the tape twice)

1. Review the ways of greeting. Write on the blackboard.

4. Practice.
1). Read the dialogue after the tape.
2).Role-play. Boys, you guys play the role of Andy. Girls, you’re Kitty. I will read Millie’s part. Then exchange the roles.
3). Group work. Work in a group of 3, make up a new conversation.
