　　more than 1300 students in our school. Most of them come from the countryside .

　　The teachers and students work hard. Our school has made great achievements in recent years. But we should still take some measures to make greater progress.

　　Step2 Rewrite the passage

　　Transformation of sentences (适当转变句式)

　　一.把两个（或几个）简单句并为一个简单句

　　（1）用非谓语动词

　　I will be given another chance.

　　I will succeed.

　　He wants to improve his English.

　　He studies hard.

　　We are studying in Tangxi Middle School.

　　We feel happy.

　　She was anxious to post the letter after she finished it hurriedly.

　　(2) 把其中一句改为介词短语

　　He is a handsome boy .He has wide eyes.

　　Shanghai is a busy city .

　　shanghai has convenient traffic.

　　用with结构

　　We are having classes and the doors are open all the time.

　　她怀里抱着个婴儿在校门口等人.

　　He was brought in.

　　His hands were tied behind his back.

　　(3)独立主格结构

　　If weather permits , we will go camping tomorrow.

　　There was no taxi, so we had to walk home.

　　If all the factors are considered , he

　　名词性从句

　　(1)The Chinese artists were to perform here that night.

　　状语从句（结果）

　　Step3 Other sentence patterns.

　　1.巧用被动语态

　　（1）we should take some measures to prevent pollution.

　　（2）他充分利用业余时间来练习弹钢琴。

　　He makes full use of his spare time to practise playing the piano.

　　2.用it句型：

　　（1）你方便来我们学校来看我吗？

　　（2）我认为举办这个会议是个好机会。

　　3. 倒装

　　（1）Though he is a child , he knows a lot.

　　（2）只有用这种方式, 我们才能有足够的精力好好学习.

　　（3）山的另一边有一个湖.

　　4. 强调

　　He didn’t get up until his mother came back.

　　（正是）他在会议上所说的让我失望。

　　Try various sentence patterns

　　作业太多了， 我没有时间去看电影。

　　会议结束后，我们就去吃饭了。

　　我一到达那个村庄他们就告诉了我事故的起因。

　　Step3 Practise writing a passage.
