　　典型句式运用

　　1.leave+宾语+ 宾补，使……处于某种状态

　　宾语补足这一成分可以由过去分词、现在分词、形容词、介词的复合结构等来充当

　　leave sb./sth. doing (让某人一直做某事）leave sth. undone

　　(留下某事未做，被动和完成）

　　leave sb. to do :留下某人做某事（将来）leave sth. to be done (留下某事情要做）重点单词

　　1.content adj.满足的；满意的；vt.使满足；n.内容；目录；容量

　　1）be content to do sth. ( =be willing/ready to do sth.)乐意做某事；满足于做某事

　　2）be content with sth. ( =be satisfied/pleased with sth.)对某事满意/满足

　　2.entertain v.款待，招待；使快乐

　　entertain sb.(to sth.)宴客；款待某人entertainment n.娱乐活动

　　entertaining/amusing adj. 愉快的；有趣的

　　如：He's pretty well off for food and drink.

　　他的食物和酒储存充裕。

　　3）be badly needed 及其需要地 （极度地）

　　* go from bad to worse 每况愈下

　　*be better off境况(尤指经济境况)较好

　　10. 1)我筋疲力 尽了I am worn out=I am tired out= I am exhausted

　　但不能用 I am given out 而是 I give out(give out 表筋疲力尽时为不及物动词,不能被动)

　　worn out；还有“ 磨破的，穿旧的”的意思

　　2)汽油用完了

　　The petrol has given out （不及物,不能被动）=The petrol has run out

　　（不及物,不能被动）

　　但 run out of 为及物，用被动

　　The petrol has been run out of.

　　3）give out 还有“分发”之意

　　11. be particular about:对…很讲究/挑剔
