　　Iran's Atomic Energy Organization says that Iran has made progress in nuclear technology.

　　Head of Organization Fereidoon Abbasi said on Monday Iran has made good progress in the design and construction of reactors.

　　The remarks came as Iran is to hold a meeting with a delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency.

　　Both sides have announced progress in their December talks toward an agreement that the IAEA believes would allow it to resume inquiries into Iran's nuclear facilities.

　　The IAEA is hoping to finalize the framework in the new round of discussions in Tehran on Jan. 16.
