国内英语资讯:Compilation of Xis remarks on governance of Party published

BEIJING, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- A compilation of remarks by Chinese President Xi Jinping on comprehensive and strict governance of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has been published by the Central Party Literature Press.

The book brings together 371 paragraphs from more than 80 sources, including speeches and articles, by Xi, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, between Nov. 15, 2012 and Oct. 27, 2016.

Divided into 10 subjects, the book focuses on topics including ensuring the Party's role as the leader of socialism with Chinese characteristics, firming ideals and beliefs and showing zero tolerance to corruption.

Many of the remarks in the book, edited by the CCCPC Party Literature Research Office, are being published for the first time.

The publisher said in a press release that careful study of the remarks will be conducive to understanding the significance of properly governing the Party and grasping its basic requirements and key tasks.
