In China, our name is made up the first name and the last name. In America, people’s name is also made up of the first name and the last name, but there is something different. In China, our last names are from our ancestors, the last names are put in front of the first name. While in America, their last names are put behind the first name. The order is the main difference. After knowing the American name, we must be careful with these names, when we call the foreign friends, we should call their first name, when we are not familiar with them, we should call their last name. Don’t mix it with Chinese names.

在中国，我们的名字是由姓氏和名字组成。在美国，那里人的名字也是由姓氏和名字组成，但是会有些不同。在中国，我们的姓氏是继承我们的祖先的，姓氏是放在名字前边。然而在美国，他们的姓氏是放在名字后面。顺序就是主要的不同。在了解了美国的名字后，我们必须要对这些名字提神，当我们称呼外国朋友时，应该叫他们前边的名字，在我们和不熟的人打招呼时，应该叫他们的后面的名字。不要和中国的名字弄混了。
