“中国式”接送孩子 Chinese Style Picking up the Children

Nowadays，more and more families choose to send their children to school and pick them up after school .Almost everywhere in China you can see the phenomenon: parents are waiting anxiously for their children out of the school, so many people and vehicles are crowded at the gate of school just like a market .It is a "Chinese style "educational phenomenon. Different people express their opinions:

现在，越来越多的家庭选择送孩子去学校然后放学再去接他们。几乎在中国的每个地方你都可以看到这样一种现象：父母焦急地等待他们的孩子放学，很多人和车挤在校门口就像一个市场。这是一种“中国式”教育现象。不同的人有不同的观点：

Some people think it is necessary to do so .There a sons are the following :First , the safety is the priority of children .More and more vehicles are on the roads and more traffic accidents happen around us.Besides, most families have only one child ,who depends more on their parents since born. It is not easy for them to break away from the families and become independent .What's more, many parents are worried about their children becoming "bad" since they may make bad friends or go to the internet cafe on the way to school.

有些人认为这样做是必要的。原因如下：首先，安全是孩子们的首要问题。道路上的车辆越来越多，身边发生越来越多的交通事故。此外，大部分的家庭只有一个孩子，他们从出生开始更多的是依赖父母。让他们脱离家人而变得独立是不容易的。另外，很多家长担心孩子在上学的路上因结交损友或者去网吧而变坏。

However, others hold the opposite view that sending and picking up children can cause some problems .More population and traffic vehicles gathering at the gate of school will cause heavy traffic jams ,causing some new traffic accidents .In addition ,it is a waste of labor power. Some young parents give up their jobs to care for their children .What's worse, it is hard for children to form independent characters since children depend on their families in daily life.

然而，其他人持有相反的观点。他们认为接送孩子上学会引起一些问题。越多人口和交通车辆聚集在校门口会引起交通堵塞，引起一些新的交通事故。另外，这样会浪费劳动力。有些年轻的家长放弃他们的工作来照顾孩子。更糟的是，这样很难让孩子们形成独立的性格，因为孩子们日常生活都是依赖家人。

As far as I'm concerned, solving the problems depends on the joint efforts of the whole society. To begin with, more schools should be built for the children who live far away from their current schools. Besides,related government departments take urgent and effective measures to preserve the social environment, making it more safe and civilized. Last, more people are supposed to obey traffic regulations and laws and at the same time to encourage their children to be independent .Only by the joint efforts of the whole society can we solve the "Chinese style "educational phenomenon.

在我看来，解决这一问题依靠全社会共同努力。首先，应该为远离现在学校的孩子建立更多学校。其次，有关政府部门采取紧急有效的措施来维护社会环境，确保其更安全文明。最后，更多的人应该遵守交通法规，同时鼓励孩子学会独立。只有全社会共同努力我们才能解决这一“中国式”教育现象。
