一所幼儿园 A Kindergarten

Xiangying Kindergarten is a town-ship kindergarten. It was set up in 1997 by Xiangying Township. Eighty percent of the children come from peasants' families. In the early stage, there were only four teachers and less than thirty children. It was poor equipped, so that parents didn't want to send their children there. It was tough in its early years and nearly collapsed. However, during the past years, great changes have taken place because of a project sponsored by government. A new building has taken the place of the house made of the earth and a new small playground was built. Besides, there have been some amusement devices. The township provided the kindergarten with a lot of advanced equipment such as pianos and TV sets. The number of children has increased to nearly 200, and the number of teachers has reached to 25. Now parents are willing to send their children to the kindergarten.

湘英幼儿园是一所乡镇幼儿园。它是于1997年由湘英镇建立的。80%的孩子来自农民家庭。成立之初，幼儿园里只有四名老师和不到30名小孩。那里的设备很差，因而家长们都不想把孩子送到这。刚开始几年很艰难得几乎快要倒闭了。但是，在过去的几年里因为一个政府赞助的工程，这里发生了很大的变化。一栋新的建筑取代了泥房，并且建立了一个新的小操场。除此之外还有一些娱乐设施。镇里给幼儿园提供了很多先进的设备，比如钢琴和电视设备。现在孩子的数量已经将近200了，老师的数量已经达到25名。现在家长们都愿意把孩子送到这个幼儿园。
