Canada's biggest polygamist, who has 27 wives and145 children, has said that he does not agree withlegalizing polygamy because it could lead to theexploitation of women.

Winston Blackmore, the leader of a polygamousMormon fundamentalist group in Canada, is beingprosecuted by the Canadian government forpolygamy, according to the Salt Lake City Tribune.

Blackmore, who has married 27 women and has 145 children, was arrested for polygamy in2007, but those charges were eventually dropped because of concerns over how the specialprosecutor was selected.

布莱克莫尔与27个女人结婚并生了145个孩子，在2007年因一夫多妻被捕。但是考虑到特殊检察官的任命，后来那些起诉被撤销。

'And those suckers are after me day and night,' Blackmore told the audience, according to theTribune. 'I'm going to have to go another round with them.'

Black more was charged for polygamy again in 2014, but a trial date hasn't been set yet.

Blackmore said that he and his wives were just 'friends', and he never courted any of his wivesand that instead some of them approached him about getting wed.
