Yesterday I went to a party and danced like a freak.

I enjoy watching dancing performances because I find it very inspiring and interesting when the dancers express their talent.
Why do you think some people like to dance?
Because it is inspiring and it is also a good workout. Any form of good fast movement is good for calorie burning. Dancing not only allows you to have a nice figure but also trains your flexibility.
What kind of dancing do Chinese people like?
Old people like the traditional dancing while the young like free style which means just have fun and dance to the music and let the body do whatever it wants.
When do Chinese people like to dance?
I like to do some hip hop dancing during weekends because it makes me feel inspiring and gets rid of all the pressure after 5 days work. Also, it is good for calorie burning and builds my body.
Does China have any traditional dances?
Different region has different traditional dances. In the north part of China, throwing the ribbons around and moving in a graceful motion is the most popular traditional dancing. Normally, the ribbons are the type of silk fabric red ribbons.
Is traditional dance still popular today in China?
Young people are more eager to learn hip hop dancing because it looks cool and inspiring but those traditional dancing like red ribbon dancing is still a must during traditional festival, like the Spring Festival.
Is there much difference between traditional dancing and modern dancing?
Yes, and I think music plays a big part. Classical music always played in traditional dancing and it is popular among the ole people. However, hip pop and RB was played in modern dancing and young people like it a lot.
What kinds of dancing are popular with young people in China?
Break-dancing is quite popular among young people in China recently. They are crazy about the cool moves like the worm, which means you get on your stomach, and push yourself into the air by your hands and make your body like wave.
Do you think there are any advantages for young people to go dancing?
Dancing does a world of good for young people. First, dancing is a good workout. Any form of good fast movement is good for calorie burning. Also, dancing not only gives you a nice figure but also trains your flexibility.
Do old people in China like the same kind of dancing as young people?
No. old people like the traditional dancing with classical music. However, young people like modern dancing like break-dancing which is very cool and energetic.
What do you think is the influence of dance on society?
Dancing is a kind of social entertainment which gives people energy and passion. It is a good exercise for the health too, making people fit and trains their flexibility. Moreover, dancing expresses emotion and helps people get rid of pressure.
