Model Answer1
My ideal home sets on a rocky cliff in Down East Maine overlooking the powerful Atlantic Ocean. An ocean cottage surrounded by pines and other New England trees such as Maples and Birches. There is a big picture window overlooking the water that perfectly captures the rising sun. Lots of big windows opened to let the fresh salty sea winds blow into the house. A porch swing for two hangs on the front porch and I can be seen there with my loving husband of 25 years every morning sipping our tea or coffee and talking about our plans for the day. Inside the house is simple and uncluttered with the smell of good cooking. Of course, winters can be long and difficult up north with not much chance to swing, so a fireplace crackling as we watch the snow blow in off the water is a must.
I want to live there because I am so crazy about ocean. Also, I am one of those romantic, creative types that value the connection comes in a small and peaceful town. However, I live in a major city filled with crime right now. Neighbors and workmates dont talk much, which makes me feel isolated every day. Moreover, Beijing is the most densely populated region in the world. I dont feel natural and I cant focus here. An ocean cottage is my ideal home because it makes me feel relaxed.
Model Answer2
Speaking of the ideal home that would like to live in... Err... It must be in suburban area, far away from the noise, hustle bustle of the outside world.
Flat, Terraced, Detached or Semi-detached, whatever type of house it would be as I dont really care. It must be spacious bright, this is what I focus on. I hate being in a dark cramped room with a low ceiling, I will be hyperventilating.
I would love to decorate my house lovingly, as well as casual. Id like to put lots of posters into a picture frame to hang on a wall, and Id also like to put some hooks up and lay musical instruments across the hooks.
Itd be quiet, comfortable and private, like a cozy heaven. The blue walls make me think of the calming vast seas that relax me. The base boards and shutters are white which remind me of the pure white clouds in the sky. The white in my room helps me to have pure and clean thoughts. Soft muted colors of the walls and bright colors of the accents make me feel creative and safe. To live in such an ideal house, I feel totally relaxed.
