　　奥立弗是个abject孩子，他刚刚出生受过ablution，家里就遭遇adversity,母亲就去世了，因为没人知道谁是他的父亲，他就此被abandoned，为一个orphanage所adopted。这种orphanage其实是个童工作坊，因为这孩子既不会adulterate,又不懂adulate，所以在orphanage里倍受院长abused。orphanage里accommodation inadequate，吃不饱穿不暖，奥立弗实在不能adapt to 这里的生活，打粥的时候想多要一碗，就被卖给adjacent/abut棺材铺老板当apprentice了。奥立弗也不能abide那里的生活，就偷偷得abscond去了London。
