　　数词

　　表示数目多少或顺序先后的词叫数词，数词与不定代词相似，用法相当于名词和形容词。数词可分为

　　两类，第一类是基数词，第二类是序数词。基数词表示数目多少;序数词表示顺序。数词的用法相对来

　　说不是太难，此处重点说一下常考的同时也是容易出错的倍数、分数、百分数和小数的表示法和用法。

　　表示法

　　1. 表示两倍用 twice，表示三以上的倍数用 times。如：

　　This road is twice as wide as that one. 这条路是那条路的两倍宽。

　　This swimming pool is three times as large as that one.这个游泳池有那个游泳池三个大。

　　2. 表示分数时，分子用基数词，分母用序数词。分子是 1 以上，分母须用复数形式。如：

　　1/3one third1/4one fourth2/3two thirds3/4three fourths

　　3. 小数点前的基数词读法同基数词，但小数点后则须将数字一一读出。如：

　　2.36 读作 two point three six 0.02 读作 point naught two

　　46.945 读作 forty six point nine four five

　　4. 百分数的表示方法是：数字+per cent，其中的百分号%读作 per cent。如：

　　6% 读作 six per cent 75% 读作 seventy five per cent

　　600% 读作 six hundred per cent 1.5% 读作 one point five per cent

　　用法

　　1. 主语+谓语++as+ 形容词+as。如：

　　I can eat three times as much as you. 我的饭量是你的三倍。

　　2. 主语+谓语++the size of...。如：

　　This river is one-third the width of that one.这条河的宽度是那条河的三分之一。

　　3. 主语+谓语++形容词的比较级+ than...。如：

　　The output of this year is 80 percent higher than that of last year.今年的产量比去年增加了 80%。

　　4. 还可以用 by+倍数，表示增加多少倍。如：

　　The population has increased by 200% in the past 25 years.人口在过去的 25 年内增加了 200%。
