　　1. reason做名词除了表示理由，原因外，还可以表示理性，理智Only man has reason.

　　Reason做动词可以表示推论，推理I reasoned that she did not answer my letter because she was angry.

　　Reason在做动词理喻，劝告的时候是一个不及物动词，需要使用reason with sb for/against sth.

　　Reason for sth---What is the reason for your long silence.

　　By reason of由于---He escaped punishment by reason of his youth. 他因为年轻,得以免除惩罚.
