　　scarcely 往往强调不足，常同 enough，sufficient，any 等表示程度的词连用，意为不太，几乎，简直没有。

　　barely 与 hardly 和 scarcely 意思相近，意为几乎，勉强，仅能做到。但如果后面跟有 ever，any，at all 等词，只能用 hardly 或 scarcely，不能用 barely。
