英语四级听力题型的解析：事实状况题

　　事实状况题是指根据原文中提供的信息寻找相对应的正确答案。在答题之前应分析四个选项相互之间的联系，通过其之间的差异或共性找出线索是解题之妙方。

　　【例1】 英语四级听力题

　　M: How are you getting on with your essay, Mary? Im having a real hard time with mine.

　　W: After two sleepless nights, Im finally through with it.

　　Q: What do we learn from this conversation?

　　A) The man thought the essay was easy.

　　B) They both had a hard time writing the essay.

　　C) The woman thought the essay was easy.

　　D) Neither of them has finished the assignment yet.

　　【预测】 选项都提到essay，听时一定注意关于双方essay的看法。

　　【解析】 两人对话均对这个论文发表意见having a real hard time、two sleepless nights，可见两者都觉得论文难写，与B答案相对应。A、C与原文相反。女士说Im finally through with it表示已经写完，故排除D。

　　【例2】英语四级听力题

　　W: Where did you say you found this bag?

　　M: It was lying under a big tree between the park and the apartment building.

　　Q: Where did the man find the bag?

　　A) In the park. B) Between two buildings.

　　C) In his apartment. D) Under a huge tree.

　　【解析】 原文中男士说到包的位置是在树下，所以选D。树的位置between the park and the apartment building可知A、B、C均为错误选项。
