新版GRE红宝书缺失词汇（三）

　　GRE词汇量是考G考生必须要过的第一关，而GRE红宝书是考生备考GRE词汇的重要教材之一，不过，在新版GRE红宝书中，还有一些缺失词汇。

　　lethargic adj. 昏睡的

　　lewd adj. 好色的;猥琐的

　　Afraid that the lewd nature of the plays being presented would corrupt the morals of their audiences, the Puritans closed the theaters in 1642.

　　listless adj. 无精打采的

　　分拆联想：list+less榜上无名所以没精打采

　　loath adj. 不情愿的，勉强的

　　disinclined, averse, hesitant, reluctant

　　loathe v. 憎恨，厌恶

　　来自loath;分拆联想：l+oath+e发誓离开憎恨

　　loquacious adj. 多嘴的，饶舌的

　　词根记忆：loqu+acious多话的

　　lucid adj. 表达清楚的，明白易懂的

　　词根记忆：luc+id很光滑的表达清楚的
