有关 whomever 的一个疑问
下面这个句子是错的，你能看不出它错在哪里吗?
Tell whomever you likeit makes no difference to me.
此句错在whomever用得不妥，因为在现代英语中，不管是用作主语还是宾语，均用whoever，而不用whomever。你若不信，你可以去查查新出版的《朗文当代英语词典》和《牛津高级英语词典》，已找不到该词。又如：
Whoever you ask, the answer is always the same. 不管你问谁，答案都一样。
Give it to whoever you see in the meeting room. 你在会议室里看见谁就把它给谁。
