高中英语语法-“吃”法种种

　　　　谈到吃，学英语的人往往首先想到的是 eat 一词。实际上，英语中表示吃的词语很多，我们可以根据具体语境，使用多种表达方法，恰当地表示出吃的意思来。下面举例说明吃的英语表达方法。

　　　　1. 女士们不爱吃生蒜。

　　　　The ladies are not especially fond of raw garlic.

　　　　2. 好喜来饭店的菜真好吃。

　　　　The meal in the Haoxilai Restaurant is really delicious.

　　　　3. 这碗饭可不容易吃。

　　　　This is a hard way to earn a living.

　　　　4. 他说：好男不吃分家饭。

　　　　He said， Good sons don't live on their inheritance.

　　　　5. 我的一个朋友今晚要请我吃饭。

　　　　One of my friends wants me to dine with him this evening.

　　　　6. 我要吃喜酒去。

　　　　I'll go to a wedding feast.

　　　　7. 李先生在皇冠大酒店请他的朋友们吃饭。

　　　　Mr Li entertained his friends at dinner in the Huangguan Hotel.

　　　　8. 你喜欢吃什么，烤鸭还是香肠？

　　　　What do you prefer， roast ducks or sausages？

　　　　9. 学生们正在食堂里吃饭。

　　　　The students are at mess now.

　　　　10. 这孩子刚一岁，还不会自己吃饭。

　　　　The baby is just one year old. He can't feed itself yet.

　　　　11. 直到吃完饭他才说了声谢谢 .

　　　　He didn't say Thanks until he finished his meal.

　　　　12. 这孩子喜欢吃甜食。

　　　　The child has a sweet tooth.

　　　　13. 你喜欢吃什么风味的菜，辣味还是甜味？

　　　　What sort of food would you like， peppery taste or sweet taste？

　　　　14. 请坐！吃点牛排，还是吃点别的？

　　　　Please sit down！ How about beefsteak， or something else？

　　　　15. 这个病人好多了，饭也吃得下了。

　　　　The patient is much better. She's got an appetite now.

　　　　16. 请再吃点水果。

　　　　Please help yourself to some more fruits.

　　　　17. 这位老人一向吃素食。

　　　　The old man takes only vegetarian food.

　　　　18. 跟我们一起吃午饭好吗？

　　　　Will you join us for lunch？

　　　　19. 他真是癞蛤蟆想吃天鹅肉。

　　　　He's like a toad trying to swallow a swan.

　　　　20. 腿疼得我真吃不消。

　　　　The pain in my leg is more than I can stand.

　　　　21. 他天天吃现成饭。

　　　　He leads an idle life.

　　　　22. 吃饭时说话是个坏习惯。

　　　　It is a bad habit to talk at table.
