for six days六天
for a long time很久
We lived there for ten years.
We have lived in London for ten years.
Weve been here an hour/two days.
Theyve worked all night.
She has been here since six oclock.
Weve been friends since our schooldays.
C注意:last和 the last之间存在着差别。
比较:
(a)I have been here since last week(month, year etc.).
(b)I have been here for the last week.
Ive worked here since I left school.
He had a bad fall last year and has been off work ever since.
