　　1，turn on

　　打开;发动

　　Will you turn on the radio?

　　关掉

　　Turn off the light before you leave.

　　出现，露面

　　eg: He didn't turn up at the meeting yesterday.

　　出现;发生

　　Something unexpected has turned up.

　　1,拒绝

　　His proposal was turned down.
