AGREETO DISAGREE
People often show agreement simply bysaying Right, Absolutely, or I agree. They often show politedisagreement by saying something like, Maybe,but or Im not sure that I agree。
However, there are a number of other ways to say I agree and even more ways to say I disagree. The following expressionsare some of the most common:

Saying I disagree
These expressions are considered polite orneutral ways to show disagreement:
Icant say that I agree: a polite way to say Idont agree
Idont think so: means I dont think the same way;I dont think thats right。
Ihave a different take on it: means I see/understand it differently; I havea different viewpoint
Imof a different mind: means My view point isdifferent
Imnot sure about that: a polite challenge tosomeones statement; means I may not agree
Iquestion that: a polite challenge to someonesstatement; means I probably dont agree
I wouldnt be so sure: a polite challenge to someonesstatement; means You might be wrong
The following expressions show strongdisagreement, and are impolite or rude. They are sometimes used for teasing,but are mostly only used in arguments。
