雅思的阅读前三篇不需要通篇阅读，先看题目，然后在文章中找答案。为了避免答错，我通常都把文章中关于答案的内容圈出来。你必须把每道题目的答案在文章中圈出来，这样就可以确保你的答案一定是正确的。我的体会是，基本上每道题目在文章中都可以找到一个句子或几个词来验证。我要郑重的提醒大家，不需要任何推理, 也就是说如果你没能在文章中找到对应你答案的词或句，你的答案是错的。
只有第四段阅读才需要通篇阅读然后才看题目做答案。其它三段无须通读，这是我的体会。这样可以节省大量时间。考试的时候我大概只用40分钟就坐完了，只好在那里发呆。
关于阅读我认为最好的方法是平时多读。每天选500字左右的资讯或社论即可。头痛的是欧美的报纸网站常被封杀，不妨试试新加坡或其他东南亚的英文时报，邮报。
