　　The law for adolescents was first promulgated in 1996, and revised in 2006, and it took in effect in 2007. Under the law, health care professionals, daycare workers, teachers, and the police are required to report cases of child abuse. The revised law also prohibits parents from leaving children who are under the age of six or who require special attention unattended. Parents violating this regulation must attend a minimum of four hours of parental responsibility training.
