当各路诸侯云集雅思培训市场，雅思考试成为中国考生出国留学的首选时，关于雅思培训的书籍犹如雨后春笋般占据着书店最显眼的位置。此类书籍中不乏有培训师花费几十年道行得出的九阴真经。然恕我直言，该类书籍先天不足者多矣。
余观夫雅思写作，纵口若悬河，吹嘘半月、十日乃至5日内助学子写作成绩扶摇直上，羽化登仙，未免信口雌黄，不足信也。余以为，欲破写作难关，手中兵刃得备齐三样：
1. 兵法上说不谋万世者，不能谋一时众所周知，雅思考试注重的是一个考生是否具备在国外生存和学习的能力。雅思写作更是如此，考官能从一篇短短的数百字文章中看出阁下对英语语言的掌控能力。冰冻三尺非一日之寒，只有在日常学习生活中坚持不懈的积累英语基础知识，包括雅思必备词汇，英语基础语法等等。有此等物件在身，犹如金刚护体，对各种题目的刁难都能做到应对自如。
2. 古人云：腹有诗书气自华。古人亦云：读书破万卷，下笔如有神。从中我们可以清楚的看出读与写之间的暧昧关系。中国学生为什么在雅思写作上难得高分呢?很重要的一个原因就是读的原版英语太少。我们无法做到读书破万卷，因此我们很难下笔如有神。于是我们手上必须有一本融会各门各派武艺的武林秘籍。以其人之道还治其人之身。当我们学会一个地道的老外怎样写文章的时候，我们的神功也就练就了。
3. 历史经验告诉我们：车马未动，粮草先行。雅思写作亦是如此。在写作之前我们得准备一些东西。我们把这种工作称为：brainstorm。写作题材不外乎几类，考生应在培训师的指导下做一下每类话题的总结，这样能做到在写作时有话可说，逢敌必亮剑，倚天剑出，谁与争锋。
英语学习是一个长期的过程，投机取巧者只能牺牲做炮灰。这就是为什么我坚信persistence 的力量。愚公一人能移山，楚虽三户能亡秦!只要坚持不懈，写作这块骨头是可以啃掉的。
