首先第一点要通过词汇这一块，因为就像我刚才说过的，中国高考大纲规定，优秀高中毕业生词汇量有3500个，但考托福的话，至少需要有8000左右的词汇量，这样的话词汇量是一个比较重要的难题。对于很多高中生来说，我们首先要背的第一本书是大学英语四级单词，因为四级词汇有4300个左右，是中间特别好的一个台阶，然后再背一本托福词汇就可以了。
第二点，对于高中生来说，我们还有一个难点就是听力。虽然我们高中生现在听力越来越好，但托福要求的听力还是要求语速，包括它的长度，一些考法都是有一定的难度的。
首先，我们平时每天熏陶一到两个小时，可以不经意去熏，比如我们现在有很多什么国际广播电台呀，中央九，中央四，都是随时有英文节目的。我们平时也可以看一些其他节目，比如说DISCOVERY，National Geographic，类似这样的英文节目或者英文电视，这对我们的英文整体提高会特别快。
其次，同学们也可以找一些老托福的录音带，或者老托福一些视频，因为现在这个东西比较容易找到，这对我们平时的练习提高特别好。对于高中生来说，只要词汇过关，听力有一定的基础，托福就变得简单多了。我的建议是来上课之前，上正式的培训班之前，做好这两个准备，我们的基础就相当不错了。
