没钱才吃素的“经济型素食者”

平时酷爱吃肉的同事，有几天忽然只吃素，你可不要以为他/她变成了素食主义者，其实，他们只是那几天没钱吃肉而已。

Economic vegetarian is not a real vegetarian, but someone who only consumes non-meat meals when they can't afford to buy meat, normally in the middle of a month when the last month's salary is all out and the next one is yet to come.

“经济型素食者”并不是真正的素食主义者，而只是在吃不起肉的时候才选择非肉食的人，一般来说，这种素食者出现在一个月的月中，也就是上个月的工资已经花完了，而下个月的工资还没有发的时候。

For example:

He used to be an economic vegetarian but then he got a better job and can afford to buy steak.

他曾经一度是“经济型素食者”，后来找到了个好工作，就吃得起牛排了。
