令人发指的“妈咪耻辱”

上周，北京一公益组织官微发文羞辱一位在地铁哺乳的母亲，称其行为相当于裸露性器官。这条微博在发布数小时后，引来万余次转发和评论。在一边倒的质疑声中，这条令微博最终被删。如今，这种令人发指的行为并不少见，用英文应如何表达？今天我们就来学个新词。

Mom-shaming refers to the public reproach of a mother for actions or opinions that are perceived to be inappropriate or harmful to her children.

“妈咪耻辱”是指公众对某位母亲横加指责，认为其行为或观点不起当或对孩子有害。

这个词也可以写成mom shaming或mommy shaming。其动词形式是mom shame，名词形式为mom shamer，意指那些让身为人母的人感到羞耻的人。

For example:

I'll take an honest expression of disapproval over the smug, passive-aggressive mom-shaming that goes on every day on the playground and in the comments sections of every parenting blog.

我要开诚布公的对那些行为表达不满，每天在游乐场和每个育儿微博评论栏里都会出现一些自鸣得意、消极攻击的“妈咪羞耻”行为。

又如：

Trista Vanhoose said that she was mommy shamed by a relative over vaccinating her son.

翠丝特·温乎斯说，一位亲戚让她因为给儿子打疫苗的事，感到自己为身为母亲一事感到羞愧。
