昨天是七夕，有情人团聚的日子。说到爱情，就不能不说说对爱人的称谓。中国人通常把自己的另一半叫做“爱人，有了孩子的也称为“孩子他爸（妈）；今天我们来看看在英语中，人们是怎么向别人介绍“另一半的。

spouse 是配偶的意思，指夫或妻，用于比较正式的场合。

2. How do they meet their other halves?

other half，“另一半，那口子（指自己的配偶），同时也可以指代男女朋友。
