及物动词do的22种不表示“做”的用法（上）　　
　　
do 的基本意思是“做”，但除此以外，它还有许多其他用法。

Shall I do your room out? 我为你打扫房间好吗?　　
They do the kitchen and bathrooms every day. 他们每天打扫厨房和浴室。　　
2. 表示“洗”“刷”　　
I am doing the dishes. 我在洗盘子。　　
It's your turn to do the dishes tonight. 今晚轮到你洗碗碟。　　
Have you done your teeth? 你刷牙了吗? 　　
3. 表示“梳”　　
She is doing her hairs. 她在梳头。　　
Go and do your hair. 去把头梳一下。　　
I like the way you’ve done your hair. 我喜欢你梳的发式。　　
4. 表示“煮”“烤”　　
Do the vegetables a little longer. 让蔬菜煮的时间长一点。

5. 表示“插（花）”　　
Let Mary do the flowers. 让玛丽去插花。

6. 表示“学习”　　
Are you doing science at school? 你在学校学科学吗? 　　
Do you do science at school? 你在学校里学自然科学吗?　　
She did economics at Sheffield University. 她曾在谢菲尔德大学攻读经济学。　　
7. 表示“翻译”　　
He has done Horace into English verse. 他把荷雷斯译成了英语诗。　　
8. 表示“服（役）”　　
He still has to do military service. 他还得服兵役。　　
9. 表示“演”“上演”

10. 表示“听（音乐会等）”

11. 表示“参观”“游览”
