A: Granddad keeps telling me he’s on his last legs, but he still looks fit and sprightly.
B: Don’t take any notice of him – he just likes to complain.

【语言点精讲】

on one’s last leg: 形容某人的生命即将结束，已经没有支持更久的力气和毅力了。
keep doing sth.: 不断地做某事。
fit: 健康的。
sprightly: 生机勃勃的，活泼的。
take notice of: 注意，理会。
get one’s foot in the grave: 快入土了。形容某人精神上或身体上健康状态不佳。
