sing the blues: blues指的是一种音乐形式。这个短语用来指用讲出来的方式宣泄自己的郁闷及不满。
down in the dumps: dumps是指倒垃圾的场所。这个短语是说某人感觉自己像垃圾一样，是一种用来表示情绪低落、不满、烦恼、不开心的表达方式。
cry for: 哭着要求得到。
rain on your parade: 这个短语是指某事阻止了另外某事的成功或完成，就像下雨会妨碍游行的完成一样。
fault: 过错。
