A: I am completely tired of our English classes – the teacher does not seem to take them seriously.
B: I agree. He seems more interested in earning money than in teaching us how to speak the language better.

A: 我对英语课已经完全厌烦了——老师教得一点也不认真。
B: 我同意。他感兴趣的是挣钱，而不是怎么教我们把英语说好。

A: Do you want to go to the concert?
B: It’s all the same to me. Concerts really turn me off.
A: Yeah, I’m not so hot about them either. Let’s go get a pizza.

【语言点精讲】

tired of: 厌倦，对……不感兴趣。
earn: 挣钱；获得名声等。
concert: 音乐会。
turn me off: 使(某人)厌烦(或沮丧)，使失去兴趣(或热情)，使不喜爱。
not hot about: 指对某事不是很感兴趣。hot这个词在口语中有多种用法，在这里指的是渴望的。
