groceries: 食品杂货。
as crooked as a dog’s hind leg: 像狗的后腿一样弯。形容人不诚实，干一些不合法的勾当。crooked，弯曲的。hind，后面的，后部的。
two-faced: 圆滑虚伪的。
liar: 说谎者。
