A: I’m a little bit worried about paying my rent. I loaned $300 to Adam, and even though he said he would pay me back by the middle of the month, I’m starting to sweat.
B: Don’t worry. I’ve loaned money to him before and he was as good as his word; he always paid when he said he would.

A: 我有点担心交房租的问题了。我借了300美金给Adam，尽管他说月中会把钱还给我，但我还是开始担心了。
B: 被担心，我以前借过钱给他，他说话算数。他说什么时候还就准会那个时候还的。

A: Professor Davis told me I have a good chance of getting published. Do you think I should believe her and keep working on this book?
