1. 我不知道我能不能得到这份工作，但我会祈祷自己好运哒！

【原句】I don’t know if I’ll get the job, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
【解说】keep one's fingers crossed. 意思是祈祷好运。

2. 你们在座的有些是因为有门路才进来的。有些人则认为自己是个人物。最终这里只会有一个人真正成为个人物。

【原句】Some of you guys are here because you know somebody.Some of you guys are here because you think you're somebody.There's one guy in here who's gonna be somebody.
【解说】这句话选自电影《当幸福来敲门》(The pursuit of happiness)。虽然且长且绕，但拆开来看都是些简单的单词。请大家模仿时注意自己的语音语调！

3. 我的一生被三种简单却又无比强烈的激情所控制：对爱的渴望，对知识的探索和对人类苦难难以抑制的怜悯。

【原句】Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.
【解说】overwhelmingly、unbearable这两个词会比较拗口，大家要注意哦！

4. 我们创造梦境世界，我们会为那场梦命题，他们会在梦里装满他们的秘密。

【原句】We create the world of a dream. We bring a subject into that dream and they fill it with their secrets.
【解说】相信大家已经猜到啦~ 这句选自《盗梦空间》。注意create和subject的发音！

5. 这份信念来自早期接触英国流行哀歌以及对电影《毕业生》完全会错意。

【原句】This belief stemmed from early exposure to sad British pop music and a total mis-reading of the movie 'The Graduate'.
【解说】本句来自电影《和莎莫的500天》。stem from 意思是起源于、根源是…… exposure的意思本来是“暴露，但这里exposure to也可以理解为“接触。

6. 我想要取一个新的名字，它更像真正的我，那个没人看到过的我。

【原句】I would like to baptize myself under a new name, a name more like the real me, the one nobody sees.
【解说】本句选自《芒果街上的小屋》（The House On Mango Street），是作者Sandra Cisneros（当代美国著名女诗人，墨西哥裔） 亲自朗读哒！大家还能听出她的西班牙语口音吗？

7. 在我的生活中，我跟许多正经的人有过不少的接触。

【原句】In the course of this life I have had a great many encounters with a great many people who have been concerned with matters of consequence.
【解说】本句节选自经典童话《小王子》的英文版有声书。encounter with 遭遇，遇到； be concerned with 关心，挂念，从事于； a great many 许多，很多，大量。
