ask ... out “约会……”。

go for it “全力争取”。

I’d like to take her out.

take ... out “带……去约会”。

I want to ask her out for a date.

昨天我和青木小姐约会了。

I had a date with Miss Aoki yesterday.

(昨天我和青木小姐约会了。)

Fantastic! She is a great girl.

(太棒了!她是一个好姑娘。)

这里的date不是“ 日期”的意思，而是指“ (和异性的)约会”。

fantastic “好极了”、 “太棒了”。

I went out with Miss Aoki yesterday.

go out with ... “ (和异性)交往”、 “约会”。

Miss Aoki and I had a date yesterday.

我听说他们热恋了。

What’s happening between Miss Aoki and the manager?

(青木小姐和经理之间有什么事?)

I hear they’re deeply in love.

(我听说他们热恋了。)

be in love “恋爱”、 “迷恋”。

I hear they’ve fallen in love.

fall in love “恋爱”。

I hear they’ve fallen for each other.

I hear they are a hot item.

(我听说他们是对热恋情侣。)

Don’t tell me she’s his girlfriend.

(她是他的女朋友?)

Would I lie to you?

(要我对你撒谎吗?)

Don’t tell me ... 直译是“别告诉我……”。

I can’t believe she’s his girlfriend.

Wow ... She’s his girlfriend?

你现在和谁约会呢?

Who are you dating now?

(你现在和谁约会呢?)

Why? What’s it to you?

(这关你什么事儿?)

date除了“ 日期”的意思外，还有“约会”的意思。

这个对话的回答比较无礼。

Who are you going out with now?

go out with “ (和异性)交往”。

Who are you seeing these days?

(最近你在和谁约会?)
